The Energy Systems Research Institute tackles the global challenges that lie ahead in how we continue to generate, distribute and utilise energy.

Our vision is to establish a truly interdisciplinary systems-based research culture which encompasses the physical and social sciences, drawing on existing research excellence from across Cardiff University.
