Marine and Coastal Environment
Research is focused on the marine geography and biology of the coastal and offshore environments. There is a strong emphasis on the development and conceptual understanding of marine geography; and applied science research concerned with marine survey – both hydrographic and ecological; environmental management of marine industries including ports and shipping; and integrated management and policy for coastal and marine areas at a variety of geographical scales, including Wales, the United Kingdom and Europe.
