Changing page appearance

To Change the format of these pages please follow the instructions below:

Firefox

If you are accessing the Internet via Firefox please follow the instructions below to change the appearance of your web pages:

  1. Click 'Tools' on the top toolbar. Select 'Options' and then 'Content'
  2. Halfway down the pop-up box you will see 'Fonts & Colours'. Click the arrow next to the font style name and choose your preferred style from the menu.
  3. Repeat this with the arrow next to the font size.
  4. Click the 'Colours' button, click the colour block for 'Text' and click on you preferred colour, repeat for 'Background'.
  5. Ensure that the tick box for 'Allow pages to choose their own colours, instead of my selections above' is not selected.  Also ensure that 'Use system colours' is de-selected.
  6. Click OK on both boxes and your preferences should take effect.

Internet Explorer

If you accessing the Internet via Internet Explorer please follow the instructions below to change the appearance of your web pages:

  1. Click 'Tools' on the top toolbar.  Select 'Internet Options' and it it will open a pop-up box on the 'General' tab.
  2. Click the 'Accessibility' button at the bottom of the box; click the boxes next to the following statements; 'Ignore colours specified on webpages', 'Ignore font styles specified on webpages' and 'Ignore font sizes specified on webpages'.
  3. Click OK
  4. Click the 'Colours' button - de-select 'use window colours', click the colour block to select you preferred colour for all the options available.
  5. Click OK
  6. Click fonts - go through the list of font styles for webpage font to choose your preferred font style.
  7. Click OK on both boxes and your preferences should take effect.
