Research Interests
My research has focused on understanding the role of some important pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-15, IL-18 and IL-12 family cytokines (IL-23, 27) in the disease process in order to find practical ways to regulate the function of those cytokines for disease treatment.
Selected Projects
- IL-15, IL-18, IL-12/23/27 mediated T cell responses in periodontitis and rheumatoid arthritis
- Regulation of IL-18 activity in infection and inflammation
- Cytokine mediated bone resorption in inflammatory diseases
- Novel cytokine in immune suppression
