Mrs Maria Morgan
I am committed and skilled senior public health professional who has developed a wide portfolio of practical public health experience over the last sixteen years.
My particular strengths are in epidemiology, research and development, education, collaborative working and policy implementation. I am able to apply myself in a multi-disciplinary working environment, evidenced by my work in public health medicine and public health dentistry, commissioning health services, nutrition and health promotion.

My main teaching interests relate to public health and epidemiology. I am especially interested in inequalities in health and practical strategies to address them.
I am topic leader for the dental public health element of the Dentistry in the Wider Community theme of the BDS. I also contribute to the dental public health teaching for the PCDs. I am topic leader for the Dental Public Health Specialist option of the MPH. I am currently supervising one MPH dissertation. I also undertake teaching of postgraduate dentists, SHOs and GPTs.
