Alex is a PhD student from Cardiff University, School of Earth Sciences, looking at the reaction of the Kinabatangan river to the rapid forest clearing that has happened along its banks.

We welcome PhD, MRes and MSc students from all over the world, provided that their research falls under our general theme.

Most of our PhD students are registered at Cardiff University, find out more about undertaking a PhD/MD or MPHil programme at the School of Biosciences.

We also welcome students registered for an MRes in the School of Biosciences.
