Rwy'n fathemategydd ac yn beiriannydd cymwysedig. Mae fy ffocws ymchwil ym maes dynameg hylif a ffenomenau aflinol. Yn benodol, mae'n ymwneud ag astudio "tonnau acwstig-disgyrchiant" - maes sy'n dod i'r amlwg sy'n prysur ennill poblogrwydd ymhlith y gymuned wyddonol, gan ei fod yn dod o hyd i ddefnyddioldeb eang mewn ffiseg fathemategol, eigioneg ffisegol, analogau cwantwm, llifoedd aml-gam, harneisio pŵer tonnau, a bioleg forol, gan fynd i'r afael â chwestiynau mwyaf heriol gydag effaith uchel ar wyddoniaeth a chymdeithas.

Acoustic-Gravity Waves

Acoustic-gravity waves (AGW) are compression-type waves propagating with amplitudes governed by the restoring force of gravity. They are generated, by wind-wave interactions, surface wave interactions, and movements of the tectonic lithosphere plates; they can be found in the oceans, rivers, and even in hydraulic systems and flow pipelines. Employing AGW we can explain various natural phenomena, and identify a great potential for early detection of severe sea states, including tsunami, rogue waves, storms, and ice-quakes, as well as various other industrial applications. I am studying the fundamental aspects of the generation, propagation, and interaction of AGW, theoretically, preparing the ground for the current ongoing experiments and field observations, with applications in:

- Early detection of Tsunami
- Deep water transportation
- Quantum Analogs
- Multiphase Flow
