Learning & Scholarship

I have a background of 10 years full-time work in General Dental Practice although now that is reduced to part-time due to my commitments within Cardiff Dental School. My time working within the Dental School is a rich and varied one consisiting of lecturing academically and teaching practical skills to undergraduate hygienists, therapists, dentists and postgraduate MClinDent students.

I have a keen interest in the field of Endodontics and enjoy spending part of my time teaching this subject to the undergraduate dental students on both an academic and practical level.

I am heavily involved with all areas of the Undergraduate Hygiene and Therapy programmes from delivering lectures and practical instruction through to organising the underpinning aspects of the courses.

When I'm not at work I can usually be found mountain biking in the stunning outdoors that South Wales has to offer
