My duties include providing IT technical support to the Cardiff School of Computer Science & Informatics (COMSC) department and the National Software Academy (NSA). Developing and implementing data storage solutions, and IT disaster recovery strategies. Assisting with IT infrastructure planning, managing the IT budget along with purchasing of equipment and software. Some of my interests include automation and deployment for mainly applications and operating systems. I’m also paying great attention to virtualization and containerization technologies.

I completed an IT Apprenticeship at the School of Psychology in Cardiff University, then proceeded to become a Senior Technical Assistant before taking on this new role.
