Tony worked as a newspaper journalist before joining the BBC as a news trainee. He worked as a producer on Wales Today for five years and trained as a studio director. He produced Front Row and Night Waves for network Radio Arts. He has shot and edited a number of his own TV documentaries and, as series editor forWeek in Week Out on BBC Wales, was responsible for around fifty half hour current affairs documentaries.
He spent eighteen months working as a trainer for the BBC World Service Trust in Russia and India and has continued to work as a journalism trainer in countries ranging from Albania to Sri Lanka. Most recently he has worked as a studio director on The Wales Report with Huw Edwards for BBC Wales and as a producer on Crimewatch Roadshow for BBC1. He produces a weekly radio programme for BBC Wales.
