I am the Director of Collaborative Learning with Industry in the School of Computer Science and Informatics. I am responsible for strategy and operational oversight with regards to industry-focused teaching in the School.

I am the Academic Lead for the National Software Academy, where we collaborate with industry to develop and deliver innovative degree courses using project-based learning to improve the employability of our students.

My research and scholarship interests have particularly focused on supporting collaboration, co-ordination and communication within teams.

I am the Director of Collaborative Learning with Industry in the School of Computer Science and Informatics. I am responsible for strategy and operational oversight with regards to industry-focused teaching in the School including placements, work-based learning, industry-led projects and involving industry in the design and currency of curricula.

I am the academic lead for the National Software Academy, where we collaborate with industry to develop and deliver an innovative degree course using project-based learning to improve the employability of our students.

  • Best Academic Programme, FinTech Wales Awards 2019
  • Excellence in Teaching Award, Celebrating Excellence Awards, Cardiff University (2017)
  • Industry Trailblaizer Award, Welsh Technology Awards (2017)
  • Collaboration of the Year Award, ESTNet (Electronics & Software Technologies Network for Wales) Awards (2016)
