Research Overview

I started my PhD in January 2014 under the supervision of Dr Tony Redmond. My research is aimed at finding the optimum stimulus parameters for the identification of visual field loss and progression in eye disease.

  • 2003-2006 BSc (2.1 Hons) Optometry Cardiff University

Research interests

Visual psychophysics, glaucoma

Research Topics and Related Projects

My research involves the investigation of more accurate and precise ways to detect and follow visual field damage in glaucoma.   Specifically, I am looking at ways to tailor visual field tests to identify subtle changes that occur in the retina in the earliest stages of glaucoma while also minimising patient response variability
