The Campus Services Division was saddened to learn of the death of Miss Lee O'Brien on 10 August 2009. Lee was an Assistant Residences Manager towards the latter part of her career with the division which spanned a period in excess of 13 years.
Lee was dedicated to her work and was always thoughtful and honest. Lee was respected and well liked by colleagues and had formed many friendships throughout her time at the University. Lee was a fantastic member of the team and is remembered for her strong work ethic, commitment, capacity for work and genuine concern for people, both staff and customers.
Lee will always be remembered by her colleagues within Talybont Court and South, with whom she shared many interests, along with many others throughout the Campus Services Division for her infectious smile, fun loving ways, laughter, sense of humour and her love for Betty Boop, fairies and pink fluffy things.
Lee was a devoted mother to Michael, Tommy and Julianne, daughter of Doreen and Mike, Step-Daughter of Robert, Sister to Andy and Sam, soul mate to Martyn as well as being a Niece and Auntie.
Lee is missed tremendously by so many people including her colleagues within the Campus Services Division and will always be in our thoughts and never forgotten.
