Innovation Cube

Cardiff students will have the opportunity to find out more about employment opportunities with technology giant Microsoft and test out their latest gadgets in an employment event at the University.

On Tuesday 9th October 2012, members of Microsoft will be visiting the University with their Innovation Cube – a portable technology hub - and will give students advice on how they can make the most of their talents with a career at Microsoft.

On offer will be details of around 40 graduate jobs and 100 placements with Microsoft. Some of Microsoft's current intake of graduates and interns will also be on site to tell students' first-hand, what it's like to be part of Microsoft.

Julian Blanch, Employer Liaison Manager at the University's Careers and Employability Service said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for students, of all disciplines, to meet with the Microsoft graduate recruitment team and learn more about roles across the whole organisation within the UK and internationally. We are very pleased to add such a well known brand to our portfolio of world-class employers that come here to hire Cardiff University students."

Placements and careers advertised cover a range of Microsoft's areas of work including sales, project management, technical, marketing, finance, business operations and more.

The Microsoft Innovation Cube will be in Main Building car park on 9th October and will be open from 11.00am until 3.00pm. Students interested in attending can turn up on the day - no booking is necessary.
