The Wetskills organization invites Bachelor, Master, PhD students and recent graduates to apply for the Wetskills Water Challenge program to be held in Bath, Somerset, UK. The first Wetskills edition in the United Kingdom will be hosted by the Water Innovation Research Centre of the University of Bath (WIRC@Bath) between 30 March and 12 April 2017.

The Wetskills Water Challenge is a two-weeks pressure-cooker programme for students and young professionals with a passion for water from all over the world. Apply for this unique opportunity! Application deadline has now been extended until 8 February 2017.

The normal rate participation fee for participants without accommodation in Bath is £440. This participation fee includes accommodation in Bath, team building weekend activities, some lunches and dinners, field trip, workshop, conference entrance fees and working locations. Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses (e.g. plane tickets, local travel), meals during working days and other personal costs. For participants with accommodation in Bath, the normal rate is £240.

During past editions participants often successfully arranged financial compensation for their Wetskills participation from their university or employer. We therefore strongly encourage applicants to inquire about funding opportunities to compensate the costs (e.g. university mobility funds, travel allowance).
