Jane Hodge fellows appointed

10 Awst 2015

The Jane Hodge Foundation is supporting the creation of the Jane Hodge Neuroscience Research Fellows Programme here at the Neuroscience and Mental Health Research Institute at Cardiff University.

The programme will run for four years and allow us to recruit two rising research stars to develop work in critical areas of neuroscience.

The generosity of the Jane Hodge Foundation means that we can bring the brightest and best researchers to the NMHRI to translate our findings into benefits for patients and their families. The two Research Fellows will now make all the difference and allows us to make rapid progress in understanding and treating conditions such as autism, schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Research fellow, Dr Adam Errington, will focus on the 'cellular, synaptic and circuit level mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental disorders' and research fellow, Dr Nichola Brydges, will focus on translational neuroscience.
