Helping set-up and run a local radio station.

The idea

One idea is to establish a radio station focused mainly on issues related to women such as personal development, education and engagement with local community projects. (Grangetown Resident)

How can Cardiff University help?

By providing the know-how and expertise such as training in journalism, developing a business plan and marketing the project. The Community Gateway project has worked closely with both the School of Journalism and the local radio station VCS Cymru on recent projects and will review the possibility of a new Grangetown radio station in future years.
