Hong Kong Field Study Visit 2014

Following the success of the Hong Kong Field Study Visit 2013, staff and final year undergraduate students once again braved the 12 hour flight to visit the world’s 9th largest trading economy.

Students visited the Hong Kong Museum of History, the City Gallery, Mai Po Wetlands Reserve (a designated Ramsar site and protected site of scientific interest) and the Upper Ngau Estate in Kowloon Bay (a public housing estate which has been redeveloped in 3 phases) to name a few.

During the visit the School ran a photocompetition, with students able to enter photos in the categories cityscape, change, streetlife, nature, movement and 'our field visit'.

The winning entry was submitted by Renzo Yau in the cityscape category.

Leanne Jones and Renzo Yau were also commended in the categories nature, streetlife and movement.
