Green Impact Awards for School and Sustainable Places Staff

Staff from the School have been awarded Bronze and the Sustainable Places Research Institute team awarded Gold for their efforts in the Cardiff University Green Impact Project.

Green Impact is an environmental accreditation and awards scheme run by the National Union of Students, bringing staff and students together with their wider communities to enable and showcase positive changes in environmental practice.

This is the first year Cardiff University has taken part in the Green Impact Awards and saw a total of 30 teams from across the University sign up to take part in the project.

The Gold Award was presented by Vice Chancellor Professor Colin Riordan at an awards ceremony in Cardiff last week.
