Exploring the relationship between literature and geography, focusing on some of Ceredigion’s best contemporary writers.
Dr Jon Anderson will deliver a talk on the relationship between literature and geogra-phy, exploring how geographies of fiction co-produce the places in which we live our lives.
Followed by an exclusive video from Rich-ard Collins, author of ‘The Land as Viewed from the Sea’, who will discuss his interests in local places and how they have played out in his writings, before giving some brief readings of sections from his novel.
This event will commence with a drinks reception and conclude with a discussion and Q&A session.
The event coincides with the forthcoming publication of a WISERD affiliated book entitled 'Page and Place: On-going Compositions of Plot', authored by Jon Anderson (Cardiff University).
