Tuition Fees and Funding
Tuition Fees
The University charges an annual fee which covers all tuition fees, registration and examinations other than the re-taking of examinations by applicants not currently registered. Please note charges for accommodation in University Residences are additional.
UK/EU Students
From 2012, Government funding of higher education is changing. Consequently, Cardiff University will charge a tuition fee of £9,000 per annum to new undergraduate students beginning their studies from September 2012 onwards. This will ensure that the University’s high-calibre research-led teaching is protected, and the vibrant student experience enjoyed by our students will be maintained and continually improved.
Most UK/EU students will be eligible for financial support to cover the whole cost of the tuition fee. You will not be required to pay any money back until you graduate and start earning more than £21,000 per year.
International Students
Tuition fees are reviewed annually and are usually released in February/March. Details will published on the Cardiff University webpage for International Students.
