Entry Requirements
All applicants must normally have passed English Language and Mathematics at GCSE (at least grade C) or have an equivalent qualification. General Studies is not normally accepted as an A-level subject for Admissions purposes.
The UCAS Tariff is applied to all UK qualifications.
BSc in City and Regional Planning
UCAS Code: K490 BSc/CRPl (3 years) or K446 BSc/CRP (4 years including placement)
A-level: ABB or BBB, no set combination of subjects.
Welsh Baccalaureate: Pass Advanced Diploma plus AB to BB at A-level, no set combination of subjects.
International Baccalaureate: 33-32 points.
BSc in Geography (Human)
UCAS Code: L700 BSc/HuGe
A-level: AAA, including Geography.
Welsh Baccalaureate: Pass Advanced Diploma plus AA at A-level, including Geography.
International Baccalaureate: 35 points.
BSc in Geography (Human) and Planning
UCAS Code: LK74 BSc/GP3
A-level: AAA or AAB, including Geography.
Welsh Baccalaureate: Pass Advanced Diploma plus AA at A-level, including Geography.
International Baccalaureate: 35-34 points.
Applicants with Technical Qualifications
Applications from those offering alternative/vocational qualifications (e.g. Access, BTEC Nationals, Vocational A-level) are welcome, as are those who may have combinations of qualifications or other relevant work/life experience. Please contact the admissions tutors for further information.
Overseas Applicants
We welcome applications from overseas students and the School already has a number of overseas students studying both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. An offer will be made to you based on achieving an entry standard equivalent to UK qualifications.
