Graduate Employment

Students from the School find jobs quickly after graduation. Employers value the practical and applied knowledge that students acquire, as well as the generic skills that students develop and practice throughout the courses. Students enter professional employment in a wide range of careers, including those related closely to planning, and in the past three years as urban designers, transport planners, regeneration officers, planners in the public sector and as planning consultants in the private sector.

For more information about careers in planning and development, visit the Royal Town Planning Institute website and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors website. For information on careers in Human Geography, visit the website of the Royal Geographical Society.
