Qualifications

PhD in Economics, Downing College, University of Cambridge.
Master of Science in Environmental and Resource Economics, University College London.
Licenciate in Economics, Universidad Nacional del Sur, Argentina.

Research Interests

Georgina is interested in environmental and transport economics. She has conducted research on the role of governments in the internalisation of externalities, with a focus on air pollution, global warming, and traffic congestion.

Her current research falls under three themes:
1.  Emission trading in the road transport sector in the EU;
2.  Harmonisation of transport taxes and duties, to include all modes across all EU countries;
3.  Congestion charging.
