Research Interests
Shin’s recent research is focused on unpacking various influences on travel behaviour and linking it to sustainability and health, with a particular interest in the role of built environment, attitudinal motivations, and policy interventions. Another enduring research theme of hers is the evolution of urban structure – how we have, over time, changed the ways in which we organise our activities and the patterns in which we interact with each other in space and what this means for sustainable mobility.
