Visiting Scholars

The Visiting Scholars Programme allows academics and research students to study within the School for up to one year. You will have access to the excellent facilities the School offers, a world-class selection of academic staff, and the opportunity to experience life in the UK.

Visiting Scholars have the opportunity to:

  • collaborate with their Mentor / nominated member of staff to produce a paper
  • join a relevant Research Group
  • prior to the end of their study period, to produce a formal report outlining the academic experience gained in the School and reflection of UK and Cardiff life

Visiting Scholars will receive:

  • a dedicated network e-address and designated print / photocopy allowance
  • access to Cardiff University IT and library systems
  • regular meetings with their mentor
  • ability to “sit-in” on lectures

Further information for Visiting Scholars is provided in the Handbook.
