Dr Stephen Burgess
Stephen is also a member of the Wales Institute of Social & Economic Research, Data & Methods(WISERD) localities team.
Prior to joining WISERD in 2009, he worked as a researcher for the Cardiff Institute of Health, Society and Ethics (CISHE).
His research interests include adolescent smoking and smoking cessation; school smoking policies and the methodological and the ethical considerations of researching in schools. He is also interested in mental health; the roles of culture and tradition in health behaviour and the geographical experience of health.
