What one thing would you tell someone else about the School of Planning and Geography at Cardiff?

The differences between the City and Regional Planning Course and the Human Geography Course and the jobs they can lead to.

How did your degree most help you in the career or job you have now chosen?

The planning element of my course appealed to my employer.

Tell us a bit about your current job, how you got into what you are doing and what you enjoy about it most.

I am a consultant within a transport planning department of a engineering consultancy.  I found the job when researching employers on the internet and enjoy the variety that comes with the job.

What opportunities do you feel have opened up to you as a result of being a student at the Cardiff School of Planning and Geography?

Work in the private sector of the planning industry, including the opportunity to learn technical skills in highway modelling and design.

Tell us any interesting facts about yourself, hobbies or interests that you have.

I enjoy outdoor pursuits such as surfing and mountain climbing and I enjoy to travel.
