Meditation is a practical skill that allows us to become more in touch with all aspects of our experience.  By practicing meditation, we learn to become more present to our physical experience, our sensory experience and what is happening in our thoughts, feelings and environment.

These drop-in sessions provides instruction in two traditional forms of meditation called The Mindfulness of Breathing and The Metta Bhavana (the development of loving kindness).  The mindfulness of breathing helps us to develop focus and concentration.  The Metta Bhavana helps us to become more emotionally flexible and robust.

Deadlines, interviews and other work pressures can cause physical/emotional tension.  Why not set up a practice which, over time, may support you to enjoy a greater sense of spaciousness and buoyancy?   We can't reduce your workload but we can teach you how to increase your capacity to respond to it positively.

Once you have learned to meditate by attending the drop in sessions, you can begin to develop the habit of meditating at home.  This will strengthen your experience of clarity, stability and openness.  You can use the drop in as much or as little as you like. Come when you can.

You will be guided through the practices by Atapini and Will Elworthy.
