University Hall Conference & Meeting Facilities


University Hall - Conference Centre

University Hall Conference Centre stands in its own pleasant grounds of University Hall, approximately three miles from the city centre in one of Cardiff’s most attractive suburbs.

A full catering service is available at University Hall from refreshments, working lunches to formal conference dinners.

The purpose designed Conference Centre has the facilities a conference organiser may require including:

  • A spacious main hall with a capacity for 230 delegates
  • Raised stage area with lecturn
  • An exhibition area (148m2)
  • Seven breakout rooms
  • Organiser’s office with telephone point
  • Wheelchair access and facilities for disabled customers
  • Registration and reception area (including telephone point)
  • Free parking

University Hall Day Delegate Rate £27.15 (excluding VAT)

Includes:

  • Venue hire (for Birchwood House, one main room only)
  • Morning refreshments with biscuits
  • 2 course hot buffet lunch with tea/coffee
  • Afternoon refreshments with Welshcakes
  • Flipchart and screen (main room only)

Minimum numbers:

  • Conference Centre - 50

University Hall - Birchwood House

For smaller meetings or events in traditional style and classical surroundings Birchwood House, built in 1901, is ideal for interviews, board meetings and training courses. There are ten meeting rooms, each with its own distinct character and charm. The largest room is able to accommodate up to 75 delegates with other rooms accommodating between 5-40 delegates.
