The Research Excellence Framework, due to be completed in 2014, will assess not only the quality of research undertaken at British Universities, but also the impact that work has.

Engagement with the public, or with specific community groups, can be one pathway to demonstrating the impact of a portfolio of research.

Working in collaboration with colleagues from across the Strategic Development Directorate, the Community Engagement Team is happy to support academic schools in developing engagement strategies and offering advice on evaluating success.  Please contact us for further information or to arrange a meeting.
