Fiction Fiesta 2013

An innovative programme of literary events celebrating international fiction and poetry in translation alongside home-grown talent.
Welcome to the Fiction Fiesta 2013 webpage. The event this year will build on the success of last year, with more than 18 authors, poets, translators and critics contributing to a lively celebration of literature in translation. Fiction Fiesta takes place over the weekend of 18th - 19th May, and is open to all!
The Fiesta 2013 has four sessions:

Session Three, Sunday 19th May: 12.00pm - 2.30pm
Including readings and discussions with Andres Neuman, Eduardo Halfon, and a translation duel between Richard Gwyn and Andres' translator, Nick Caistor. Further information here.
Session Four, Sunday 19th May: 3.00pm - 6.00pm
Including readings from Patrick McGuinness & our Latin American contingent and a panel discussion between experts including Boyd Tonkin (Independent) and Alexis Nuselovici. Further information here.

Fiction Fiesta 2013 brings back international prize-winning writers from FF2012 like Andrés Neuman (Traveller of the Century) and Tiffany Atkinson (Catulla et al), as well as introducing to the UK new internationally renowned authors such as Inés Garland (Piedra, Papel o Tijera) and Eduardo Halfon (The Polish Boxer). Complementing these authors will be a host of fascinating English and Welsh language writers and critics, including:
