Neuroscience Cafe on Monday 9th March 2009
On Monday the 9th of March, postgraduate cardiff neuroscience society will hold it's first Neuroscience Cafe in the graduate centre. The topic will be: "Get smart with drugs? The science and ethics of cognitive enhancers" and will bridge the gap between science and society (it is definitely not just for neuroscientists!), talking about drug abuse in an academic sense (e.g. can they help with learning? Is it legal?) from multiple perspectives!
It will start at 6PM in the graduate centre bar with pizza and drinks, continue with three 15 minute presentations from our invited speakers, and will end hopefully with a large forum discussion afterwards (accompanied by nibbles and more drinks), for free!
