Young Neuroscientists' Day 2008

Wednesday 22nd October 2008            

University Hall, Cardiff University

A meeting jointly hosted by the Universities of Cardiff and Bristol, in association with the BNA, took place on the 22nd October 2008.  Open to all young scientists from across the UK, this one day meeting brought together young neuroscientists from all disciplines.  The day was packed with a fully interactive programme that included mini-symposia, poster sessions, themed talks, headline speakers, a drop in career development stand and an evening social event.  Take Note - New Format! Run by and for young scientists - postgraduate students, post docs, and all others at an equivalent stage in either lab-based or clinical career - this hugely successful meeting was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone that attended and provided a great opportunity for young neuroscientists to present their work in a non-threatening, very friendly environment.
