YND 2008 Venue

The Young Neuroscientists' Day 2008 will take place in Cardiff, at University Hall Conference Centre.  This is located on Birchwood Road, Penylan, Cardiff, CF23 5YB.

Directions:

FROM THE WEST
1. From the M4, exit Junction 30 (A4232) Cardiff East (Cardiff Gate Services). Follow road straight-ahead
2. at next roundabout, until you reach (A48M) roundabout.
3. Take 2nd exit signpost Cardiff City Centre (A48). Follow A48 towards Cardiff for approximately ½ mile.
    Exit at the junction signed (A161) for Cardiff Docks East. (2nd Turning off A48(M).
4. Take 3rd exit on roundabout signpost for Llanederyn.
5. Immediately take 1st left at next roundabout signpost Cyncoed.
6. Continue to top of hill (approx. ¾ mile), to set of traffic lights. Turn right at lights into Cyncoed Road.
7. Take 3rd turning on left into Tý Gwyn Road. Approximately 200 yards on the right hand side turn into
Birchwood Road; take the first right to enter the Conference Centre Car Park. For Reception please make
your way to the base of the Tower Block.

FROM THE EAST
1. Exit M4 at Junction 29, (Cardiff East and South) onto the A48(M).
2. (Follow A48 towards Cardiff for 5 miles until you come to the Junction for Cardiff Docks (A4232). (3rd
Turning off A48(M).
3. Take 3rd exit on roundabout signpost for Llanederyn.
As 5 – 7 above

The evening social will also take place at the University Hall Conference Centre.
