To undertake research in neuroscience that is internationally distinguished in its quality and impact.

To foster greater inter-school collaboration in neurosciences research and to increase opportunities for researchers and clinicians in neuroscience to work together for the benefit of both research and clinical practice.

To establish Cardiff as the UK’s premier centres for postgraduate research in neurosciences.

To create greater awareness of the work undertaken at Cardiff in neuroscience both internally and externally (including internationally).
