CITER Stem Cell Suite & Flow Cytometry Unit, School of Biosciences

Use:
The CITER funded stem cell suite is located within the Cardiff School of Biosciences. It is situated in the west wing of BIOSI II on the 4th floor (rooms W/4.01 – 4.08). The facility is primarily set up as a stem cell suite and comprises a BD FACS Canto analyser and FACS Aria cell sorter. The facility also has tissue culture facilities for both primary culture and established cell lines, the latter being a mycoplasma free environment. The suite also houses a time-lapse fluorescent microscope and ultra low temperature tissue/cell storage facility.
