In today's ageing society, tissue engineering and repair is growing in importance. In both public and private sectors there is a wide range of employment opportunities in the field and there exists an acute demand from industry, for students with multidisciplinary skills.
The Cardiff Institute of Tissue Engineering and Repair will facilitate the design and delivery of first class new multidisciplinary graduate courses covering various aspects of tissue engineering and repair, for example, medical engineering, regulatory procedures and imaging techniques. The aim of these courses will be to attract top quality students who wish to experience the stimulating challenges of interface research in the field of tissue engineering and repair.
The first of CITER’s teaching initiatives is the MSc in Tissue Engineering .
