CH2319:Wiki material (........ or download CH2319 zipped file and save on your computer)

I am trying out so called "tiddler" wicki's as a means of collating material for lecture courses. "tiddler" wickis are "non-linear" tagged notes that you can download and edit. To quote Mark Oehlert who has a very good introduction to "tiddler wickis":

"One of the best features of TiddlyWiki is that it's very portable. To save this entire wiki to your hard drive, right click here and click 'Save link as...' or 'Save target as...'.

You have now downloaded the entire tutorial in just one file. Every Tiddler, all of the style information, and all of the javascript program that makes the site work is contained in a single HTML file. No databases. No complicated file structures. Just one file.

The only exception to the one-file rule is images, which you can learn more about in HowToEmbedImages.

You can carry this around with you as a WikiOnAStick. After you modify it, you can upload this one file as your own personal webpage without having to go through complicated installation procedures."

Hints:

(1) "tiddler" wicki editing is not exactly "what you see is what you get" ! To get formatting, HTTP links and listings you need to use codes see Mark Oehlert's very good introduction. Eventually I plan to add some basic tips to each wiki file- watch this space!

(2) If you want to download the lecture files above you will find the links to the images don't work from your computer. To get the images, download the zipped file and unpack it. Now open up the file called "Module number.html" with your web browser and it should work.
