Congratulations to our Graduating Class of 2013

We would like to offer our congratulations to our 2013 graduating class. This has been an exceptional year for the School of Chemistry with a very high proportion of degrees awarded in the first and upper-second degree classifications.

A number of students received prizes, supported either by the School of Chemistry or various external sponsors. We would particularly like to congratulate these students, and to thank the sponsors for making possible the award of prizes.
Geraint Roberts received the Tocris Prize for the best performance in the MChem degree programme. Cara Thomas received the RSC Prize for outstanding performance in MChem. Jessica Waite and Katerina Cox were awarded a Perkin-Elmer prize for a similar distinction.
Emily Stokes won the School Prize for Best 4th Year Project.
The David Walsh prize for best performance by a student on the BSc degree programme was awarded to Callum Wood.
The Perkin-Elmer prize for outstanding performance in the 3rd year BSc went to Rima Trofimovaite. The NIPA medals for best overall practical performance in the BSc programme were awarded to Adam Balson and Sophie Flanagan.
