Congratulations to our Graduating Class of 2012

19 July 2012

We would like to offer our congratulations to our 2012 graduating class. This has been an exceptional year for the School of Chemistry with a very high proportion of degrees awarded in the first and upper-second degree classifications.

You can watch the graduation ceremony, which took place at 4.30pm on Wednesday 18th July 2012, by following the link from this page.

A number of students received prizes, supported either by the School of  Chemistry or various external sponsors. We would particularly like to congratulate these students, and to thank the sponsors for making possible the award of prizes.

Jack Routledge received the Tocris Prize for the best performance in year 4 of the MChem degree programme and was also awarded the School MChem award for excellence. Will Dean received the School Prize for outstanding performance in year 4 of the MChem. Emily Langdon-Jones was awarded a Royal Society of Chemistry prize for a similar distinction.
