Dr Simon Pope's Research Features in RSC Journal

Work from Dr Simon Pope’s research group has been selected for a special issue of the RSC journal Chemical Communications. The Emerging Investigators issue (Issue 1, 2011) is “filled with some truly outstanding Feature Articles and Communications from a young generation of leading researchers from across the globe”. The paper describes the synthesis of near-IR luminescent lanthanide complexes and their use in the detection of aqueo us metal ions of physiological and toxicological importance.
