A state-of-the-art XPS system equipped with ISS, LEED, TPD, metal deposition and high pressure catalysis cell with capablities of 6 bar and 1000 C. A Kratos HSi-165 System is also available.

One of the latest generation powder X-ray diffractometers. Also equipped with an in-situ Anton Parr reaction chamber and 45 position sample autochanger.
Mithra Technologies TAP-2 Reactor System
A modified temporal analysis of products (TAP) reactor whihc uses millisecond time resolution for probing and the determination of catalytic mechanisms.
Carl Zeiss Evo-40 SEM with EDX
The SEM is also equiped with EDX elemental microanalysis and a 1050W reaction cell for high pressure treatment of catalysts in reactive atmospheres at elevated temperatures is also present.
Multi-Technique UHV System
Combines XPS/UPS, ISS, LEED, Raman, STM/AFM and EPR in a single, multi-chamber UHV system allowing transfer between techniques without exposure to the atmosphere.
Other Equipment
The CCI is also supported by a variety of ancillary techniques such as BET, TPR/TPRO, Raman, GCMS and (solid state) NMR.
