Work experience

The number of graduates entering the job market each year keeps increasing, which means that work experience is more important than ever.

Work experience, internships, placements and part time jobs are a great way of furthering your career and are a possible route into full time employment.

According to High Fliers Research of the 2018 graduate market, 'More than a third of recruiters who took part in the research repeated their warnings from previous years – that graduates who have had no previous work experience at all are unlikely to be successful during the selection processes for the top employers’ graduate programmes'.

Work experience also offers you a unique insight into your chosen career, helps you to build valuable skills and create contacts in your field.
