The number of people living with cancer is increasing all the time, with over 900 people diagnosed with the disease in the UK every day. The positive news is that we are diagnosing patients earlier and earlier, and developing more effective treatments.
Our research is transforming cancer therapies but there is still much more to do.
As a charity we rely on voluntary support to continue our work. For example, it costs just £16 an hour to fund vital cancer research carried out by one of our postgraduate researchers.
We believe that through our cutting-edge research, we are making a difference to this research landscape and that our work can transform the way we treat cancer.
