The Division’s Public Relations work plays an important part in building and maintaining the reputation of the University through effective communication to the public and to external and internal stakeholders. It communicates the achievements and aspirations of the University through a variety of media.
The Public Relations team co-ordinates and provides leadership for public relations across the university including internal communications, production and distribution of key publications, and promotion of the University through media at local, national and international level. The team responds to more than 600 media queries each year and co-ordinates high-profile award entries such Queen’s Anniversary Prizes.
The team also co-ordinates public affairs activity, commissions photography and video, oversees social media and web content, and manages major events such as Court and Graduation.
