Research and commercial
The EM Unit has for many years maintained a close working partnership not only with the research community at Cardiff University but also with several manufacturing companies such as Amersham and DuPont Chemicals.
School links
Sessions of EM demonstration are regularly organised for prospective students during UCAS visits and for sixth form pupils from local schools.
Youth training scheme
The Unit has been involved in the youth training scheme with school leavers seeking work experience.
