Houston Zoo in DGFC

Peter and Sarah Riger visited Sabah in October 2009 and stayed at DGFC for a few days. The couple have helped arrange much needed funding for DGFC to support projects such as our long-term elephant study and forthcoming wild cats study. Peter, who visited DGFC previously in August 2008, is Director of Conservation and Science at Houston Zoo and his wife Sarah also works at Houston Zoo as Carnivore Supervisor, she is concentrating on conservation projects with big cats (her favourite being the cheetahs!)
