Postgraduate Research

Cardiff School of Biosciences has a wide range of three and four year postgraduate research programmes as well as a one year MRes in Bioscience course.
Research activity in the School spans the range of biology from whole (eco) systems to molecular biology and protein structure and postgraduate projects are undertaken in one of the six research groups: Biodiversity and Ecological Processes, Connective Tissue Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Molecular Cell Biology and Neuroscience.

ARC Biomechanics
The Arthritis Research Campaign has selected Cardiff University to become its prestigious UK centre of excellence in biomechanics and bioengineering.
