Research Overview

I am interested in the study of animal ecology and conservation biology, e.g. the giant panda, red panda, long-tailed pheasants. Currently, I am exploring the general biogeographic pattern of co-existing animals in southwestern China, as well as assessing population genetics of the saker falcon across its geographic range. I am also interested in the adaptive evolution of animals, such as, the black and white color pattern of the giant panda.
